EU Info Bus in Mojkovac visit to Secondary School Vuksan Đukić

EU Info bus has continued its journey throughout Montenegro, and after Danilovgrad headed towards municipality of Mojkovac to visit Secondary School "Vuksan Đukić".

In order to educate and inform pupils of this school, representatives of the Centre for Civic Education and the NGO "Natura" have organized numerous educational activities during the visit, which was carried out on 16 April 2013.

Pupils had the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and to inform themselves regarding the process of European integration in direct communication with the representatives of the Centre for Civic Education. Arrival of the EU Info BUS has sparked great interest in students of the school, who first had the opportunity to visit EU information stands, receive EU info brochures and other informational materials, as well as to take part in a quiz about the European Union.

Speed up the dynamics of work regarding chapter 23

prva slika   POdgorica for websiteIn the framework of the project “EU Info Bus: on the road to the EU!”, the panel discussion “Montenegro in the process of negotiations with the European Union: chapter 23 – Judiciary and fundamental rights” was held today at the conference room of the Faculty of Law at the University of Montenegro, in cooperation with ELSA Montenegro. The project “EU Info Bus: on the road to the EU!” is carried out by the Centre for Civic Education with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the NGO Natura and it is funded by the EU Delegation to Montenegro. 

Panelists of the event were Daliborka ULJAREVIĆ, executive director of the CCE, PhD Vladimir SAVKOVIĆ, professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, Annalisa GIANSANTI, political advisor at the EU Delegation to Montenegro, Lyndon RADNEDGE, Deputy Head of Mission of United Kingdom, Svetlana RAJKOVIĆ, Deputy minister of Justice and Human Rights and member of the negotiation group in charge of chapter 23 and 24 and Snežana RADOVIĆ, general director for European Integration at the MFAEI.

EU Info BUS on the road around Montenegro!

The EU Info Bus is continuing its path through Montenegro started in Cetinje on February, 14th 2013. The next stop was the municipality of Danilovgrad visited on March, 20th 2013.

With the aim of increasing knowledge and awareness of the citizens of Danilovgrad, the project team carried out an educative and informative campaign in cooperation with the municipality of Danilovgrad and with the support of the EU Delegation to Montenegro.

The EU Info Bus, as central attraction of the activities, was parked on the city square ‟IX December”. Here, on the several stands put in place for the occasion, the citizens of Danilovgrad enjoyed the possibility of inform themselves on the European Union, on the importance of the EU membership for Montenegro and on the role that local communities can play in the accession process.

On this occasion, the visit to the municipality was attended by: H.E. Mitja Drobnič, Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, H.E. Martin Pamer, Ambassador of Austria to Montenegro, Milivoje Jurišić, Secretary of the Negotiation groups of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, as well as representatives of the project implementing organisations, i.e. of the Centre for Civic Education and of the NGO Natura.

EU info BUS begins its Montenegrin tour in Cetinje

On 14 February 2013, at the Court Square in Cetinje, CCE officially began its project “EU info bus – on the road to European Union”. The project is implemented by the Centre for Civic Education in cooperation with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and NGO Natura, with support of the European Union Delegation to Montenegro.The project is part of the communication strategy of the EU Delegation to Montenegro.
